WEB AND UIUX

Humans of Columbia Website

Brief: The Humans of Columbia Project, based on the Humans of New York© model, will feature students, faculty, or any Columbia University affiliates in an online gallery as well as a physical display in the first floor of the main student center, Lerner Hall. This website introduces the project and lays out submission guidelines for all student photographers.

Execution: I designed and developed the site in week given a rushed deadline. In this process, I focused on making the site eye-catching, while staying succinct, easy to navigate. Through this project, I solidified my understanding of responsive design and development. I was also able to save the team time and money by hosting the site on Github. Overall, this project was a unique opportunity to give back to the Columbia community using my strengths.

Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, Github, Sublime
